Nick Lacey – MA(hons) Dip Arch RIBA
Founding Director of Insight Architects

Nick trained at the University of Edinburgh and graduated in 1986. He has worked at a number of major architectural practices in London including Chapman Taylor and Haskoll – where he  worked on projects in the UK and mainland Europe

Nick’s experience has covered all aspects of design, detailed design, procurement and construction and he has worked on new and refurbished shopping centres, spaces for individual retailers and with fit-out contractors, on commercial residential flats, historic building conversions and staff office/multi-use buildings.  Nick has worked as part of, or led,  multi-disciplinary design teams he was part of the team at the Eden Project, Cornwall, led by Grimshaw and the St Jakob Park football stadum development, Basel/Switzerland, led by Herzog de Meuron

Nick established Insight Architects in 2008 to promote good design and thoughtful solutions and to provide a hands-on service to his clients
